Angry Birds have taken over our home!

My Children have become obsessed with Angry Birds.  I tried to keep it away from them for a long time and then they found the game on my parents Ipad.  It all went down hill from there.  We do limit use of any game playing to 20 minutes a day so in order to fulfill Reggie's obsession to Angry birds he began coloring pictures of them.  Then my laminator became very important to the process as his pictures were getting torn and ruined when he would play with them.  Pretty soon he decided he wanted to have a puppet show.   We had fun building the stage for the puppet show (which ended up just being a piece of poster board with a window cut out and then hung on our card table.)  The boys had a blast with this and we still get it out from time to time for some Angry Birds play :)

Pizza Party!

Reggie's Preschool has been doing a reading program for the last 6 weeks.  They were sent home with circles to write on for every book that they read.  Then they went to Paizano's Pizza and had a pizza party to celebrate how well they all did.  He received a certificate for participating and Mrs. Brooks announced how many books everyone read.  As a school they read almost 1300 books!  Isn't that amazing?!!!!  Reggie was so excited about this program that I could hardly keep up with him.  We had to make a lot of circles!  But we had a lot of fun reading together.

I love it when I can capture his silly faces on camera!  He is so excited to be there.  He has been counting down his sleeps until this pizza party.  He could hardly contain himself :)

Reggie read 213 books over the 6 week period!  We are so very proud of him!  Here he is with his teacher Mrs. Brooks.  She is so great with these kids!

Welcome Home Uncle Weston!

We were able to go to the airport and pick up Quinn's brother, Weston, as he returned from his mission in Brazil.  The boys were so excited to see their Uncle Weston again!  We had been talking about him and praying for him daily for the last 2 years!  Here are a bunch of pictures we took after he returned.

Waiting for Weston to get off the plane.

The boys showing us their silly side when we are trying to take a picture.  They were just so excited to see Weston again!

Quinn was probably the most excited to see his brother.  He has been counting down the days for a long time!

I made some welcome home cupcakes, and the boys are taste testing them for me!

We are loving having him home!  Sadly, he will be leaving again for school soon!

Superhero World

On most days, I live in a superhero world.  Whether it is Superman, Batman, Spider man or many many others.  This is my life.  And I love it!  Orrin loves to dress up.  His many costumes are not limited to superheros, but many of them are.    Here are few of the characters he likes to play often.
Here he is being a spider, I think Reggie was Spider man at the same time, but I didn't get a picture of him.
Orrin was demonstrating how he throws his shield, if only it came back to him on its own!

I do have one cute Captain America if I do say so myself!

Watch out for Batman!

When we aren't playing Superheros, we are trying to find some science experiment to do.  Quinn found a way to make rock candy.  Here are the boys showing off their Rock Crystals after a few long days of waiting for them to form.

And Lastly, I just live with a bunch of goofballs.  Who else would beg me to lock them in a closet and then laugh like crazy when I try to take pictures.

I love my crazy boys, and I am super excited to add a princess to the mix.  Should change things up a bit, but I think it will be good for all of us :)
