Random Happenings over the last 2 weeks

Here are some random pictures of our little boys. I can't believe it's been two weeks since we became a family of 4! Time is going by so fast. Orrin had his 2 week check up today. These are his stats:
Weight-9 lbs 6oz 70%
Height- 21.7 in. 86%
Head Circ.- 14.3 in. 32%
Our little boy is sure growing fast! We are really enjoying having both of our boys with us now. Reggie is adjusting nicely and he can't wait until Orrin can move and play a little more. But he sure loves to give him kisses.
Reggie thought Orrin's bouncy seat looked comfortable enough to sit in himself. He looks so big to me now!

He's already taking control of the remote.

More pictures

Here are some more pictures of our precious new addition to the family.

Quinn is so cute with little Orrin. Both of us had forgotten how little and cuddly they are in the beginning.

Here's Reggie saying hello for the first time to his little brother. He was so excited to see him. He bent over and looked in at him and just smiled and laughed. It was the sweetest thing to see him so happy with having his brother home with us. The second I walked in the door, Reggie suddenly seemed so much bigger and older than he had before I left the day before. :)

Happy Halloween!

We had such a fun Halloween together as a family. Quinn started out the day making Reggie a pumpkin shaped pancake. Then we took Reggie to the grocery store to do a little trick or treating. After lunch we decorated caramel apples and then took them to some friends of ours. In the evening we went to a kiddie carnival up at the school. Reggie had tons of fun playing all the games.

Pumpkin bowling by far was Reggie's favorite game. He just kept knocking the pins down over and over again. He hated to leave this game, he kept going back to it.

As long as he could throw something he was happy.

The three of us scored big on the cake walk. Quinn and I both won cupcakes!

Here are our half eaten winnings.

Here's Reggie fishing for smarties.

He was so good at decorating his cookie. After a little while though he decided that he could dip the candy corn in the frosting on his cookie and eat it.

Then we ended the night with popcorn and a Halloween Winnie the Pooh movie :)

Getting ready for baby and Halloween!

Reggie and I are desperately trying to find things to do to take my mind off the fact that I am STILL pregnant! I know, I'm not even due yet but for some reason it feels like it is taking forever! So, since Halloween is coming up and we have a ward party tonight, we thought we would do a little baking. This is our creation....

I'm so excited! It actually kind of looks like the picture out of one of those food magazines. I can never make things look like they are supposed to and I think I finally did it! :)

Here's Reggie showing off that he helped.

And here is the evidence that he helped eat the extra cupcakes :)

The rest of these pictures are just some random ones that we have taken of Reggie over the last few weeks.

It's hard to tell, but he found my spray bottle and is having a blast spraying himself in the face.

I don't know what is so exciting about climbing in things but it is Reggie's favorite thing to do.

Done with work, what do I do now?

Well, I am officially done with work. Now what am I supposed to do? Reggie and I spent a week and a half in Baker with our families. It was so fun for Reggie to spend so much time with both sets of grandparents. Unfortunately I am horrible at taking pictures when we go home for visits, so I don't have any to share today. Now that we are back in Rexburg we are slowly getting our apartment ready for the baby and also to move again in December :) I know it seems early to get ready to move but once we have the baby I will only have a month. Today I decided I would get out the infant seat and take it apart so that I could clean it up good for the baby. Reggie decided he wanted to help too! He is so excited about the new baby that he just had to make sure everything was clean and safe for him. He personally inspected the buckles and took off the cover so that it could be cleaned properly :)

Well, these were just a few funny pictures of Reggie helping me. It's hard to believe that he actually fit in that seat, he is getting so big now :)

Reggie Back to School?

I know what you are thinking, he's much too young to be going to school :) He's not, but he is wearing his new back to school outfit that his Aunt Lisa sent him. It's a little big, but looks super cute on him! Thanks again Aunt Lisa! We love it!

Summer Fun

I am just not very good at keeping my blog up to date. Every time I post, I have to go back a few months. We spent the 4Th of July in Utah up at Quinn's Grandpa's ranch. We were all gathering together to celebrate his grandpa's 80Th birthday. We had a ton of fun with everyone and Reggie proved to have an adventuresome side to him. Everyone wanted to go shooting and Reggie hadn't ever been around anything like that so we took him along and he quickly found the irrigation pond. He was quickly entertained by throwing rocks in the water. Then he realized that if he walked in the water he would instantly sink into a mud hole. These are a few of the pictures we took of him after he had fallen in a few times and was pretty muddy.

Reggie was loving every minute of getting all dirty. I personally was a nervous wreck. He wasn't even really trying to go into the water, he would just get close enough to throw a rock in and then trip and fall in. He finally did get in too far and I had to go in after him. By that time I decided that we were done.

He quickly recovered from his water experience. After a good bath he fed himself some pudding :) He was really messy but he had a lot of fun doing it.

I think the tire swing was his favorite at the ranch. He loved to just sit in it. He even rode in the swing with his cousin Emily a few times :)

These next pictures are from the 24Th of July parade in St. Anthony. Reggie hadn't really been to a parade that he was old enough to enjoy so it was a fun experience.

They handed out free chocolate milk, isn't that the coolest thing ever? Reggie thought it was amazing and so did Dad as I saw him sneaking a drink or two.

He loved to pick up the candy. He would get so excited when he found some.

Quinn trained Reggie to put the candy in HIS pocket after he picked it up.

This picture is from tonight. Last week we got another Wii game called Wii Sports Resort. It is such a fun game and Quinn and Reggie were sitting here playing it together. I thought it was such a sweet picture :)
