A week and a half ago we had some friends over to make caramel apples. I had gotten a recipe to make homemade caramel, and it turned out very hard. The apples looked delicious but we couldn't hardly eat them. So this last Sunday I decided to try again. This time they turned out delicious. We had the Johnson's and the Olligschlager's over to help us.
Here are our beautiful apples. They were so delicious that Quinn and I made a few more of them the next night.
Here's Reggie playing with dad so that I could keep things going in the kitchen. It was a little past his bed time but he still had fun. I honestly think he was a little bummed when he got to eat crackers when everyone else was eating caramel apples. :(
This is Brigitte and Emily with their little boys, Noah and Lincoln.
Here is Owen enjoying his treat. I love it when kids eat treats and they leave the evidence all over their face.

Looks like lots of fun!! Cute Pics!
Those are the most delicious apples I've seen- my mouth is watering. Care to share the recipe???
Amanda, you'll love this one. I copied a caramel apple that we bought from the Rocky Mtn. Chocolate Factory once and it was delicious. It's an apple pie caramel apple. First you dip the apple in the caramel of course but then you dip it in white chocolate. Then, while the white chocolate is still wet you roll/dip it into a mixture of apple pie spice and cinnamon/sugar. You will love it--it's delicious. Mmmmmmmmm!!!!
